Great, but I can't get it to work correctly
I'm talking about the "proper movement" part. I'm working on a platformer myself and after having serious problems with the movement part (mainly jumping animations and a proper hitTest for the precision) I decided to try your way of doing things, which is easier and better than the way I was doing it. My platforms are done through arrays, spawned, you could say, so I thought I just had to address them differently and everything would be ok, but that wasn't true.
It always failed to turn the touchingGround false, so I turned the else to an else if, which didn't help either :( I'm fighting with it the whole day unable to make it right. If any of you has the time and the knowledge to help me, I'd be very grateful.
Apart from that I find the information you've gathered and presented in this neat way very helpful, haven't been able to find anything like it till now.
P.S. This is my first post, so be gentle :D
