Great tutorial, few things need changing.
Well, all the coding works, so that's great. But for movement I think it's cruel that you didn't make it dynamic. It's really a pain to type down that coding.
You should also add some more explanations for people having trouble with the variables and such. Sometimes the explanation isn't very good, but still descent so...

just like Karazy I wasn't able to get the download link for the Vcam, if you could post it somewhere that would be wonderful :)
Overall though great job, you explained everything very well and I was able to navigate this tutorial with ease and understanding.
Very helpful for Flash beginners!
Although most of the things in this tutorial I either already know or have no use of, the save part was very helpful for any type of games. If I plan to make a 'platformer' game in the future, the first thing I'll do is check out this tutorial again!
