Decent game
Music during ship selection is from Sonny.
I liked it, but found it too easy. didn't take a single hit during the entire first level and just quit after that.
Woah... this is nice.
A Gradius type game...
Though there are times when I think the hit area is just a wee bit too big for your ship.

1st Stage is NT's Rose at Midnight then boss is Rose at Nightfall
2nd was Blessed Requiem (?)
3rd was Balmung Prestige, but it got cut off in the middle. These are the songs that I easily recognized.
Good job, here is what could be better
The graphics are beautiful and the game play is nice. I hate the mouse control though. Slows down a lot. Making the arrows the control would be a lot more comfortable and having a button for shooting, a button for charging your beam, and then a 3rd for the weapon switch would be better. Sure its more work, but thats my opinion on the matter. Otherwise great job.
So-so
Left-to-right shooters instead of top-down is a preference I guess. Just that you can't get a lot on the screen and there's less room to manoeuvre.
All power-ups instantly disappearing forever on death is, well not stupid but hard makes it harder rather than more fun.
Last but not least, no auto-firing cannon? Fail.
