Reviews for "Quarantine Defender"

I think this is a bit under rated.

It's a very solid defense game. i love the death "physics" (or at least the many different deaths of the oncoming waves). i have a few comments that aren't totally positive.

- gun shots are repetitive.
this one's tricky to get around, but i thought that you might make the upgrades actually affect the sound of the firearm. for instance, say the player starts with an MP5, but if you upgrade the ammo capacity it becomes a P90, if you then upgrade the accuracy it becomes an FN FAL, you know, that kind of thing just to change it up a bit.
- upgrade the type of airstrike
taking a page from COD4 on this one. the first level could be a simple strafing run, the 2nd level might be close air support from a helicopter, and lastly you get support from a gunship. that said, the airstrike doesn't need to kill everything on the screen all the time, particularly if its an on-station sort of thing, it could just be a temporary backup shooter, if you will.
- more forgiving gameplay
a save point, even if it's every 10 levels would be very much appreciated.
Other than that i can't think of many flaws. i loved the shaking screen when you fire, and i liked that the gun actually gets less accurate (or appears to). the game has a very high level of intensity considering it's simplicity as well.
Good job.

Great!

It was really fun, easy yet challenging - I don't see why people complain that much about the upgrades - yes, they're expensive but they do a whole lot of difference! You're turned from the small town sheriff to Arnold himself! So don't whine about it costing 750 exp, you'll get it soon enough and then the next 750 exp will come even sooner, until you have everything you need.
A tip to the author would be to make some more upgrades for when you reach the higher levels (25-30), when I had all the upgrades purchasable, I had only repaired my wall 2-3 times, so I got myself a whole lot of exp with which I could do nothing. What I would've liked is some big time upgrades (and not too serious, as you already have all the physically possible achievements at that point). Like;
Bouncing bullets - You thought you just killed a guy? You killed two!
Overdose - Who said drugs were bad for you?
QuickClip - Half the time - Twice the pain!
Army Supply Clip - 6 bullets are for weaklings...
Aimbot - This is what you've been waiting for
Die Another Day - Take a beating, who cares?
These would be upgrades to Damage, Fire Rate, Reload Speed, Ammo Capacity, Accuracy and a permanent hp increase on the wall (to 250 hp, perhaps?). An upgrade would be around 4000-5000 exp each, and I guess you could figure out what each one does. If you'd like, you could do something similar with the airstrike, maybe with a long duration or an extra feature, such as dropping repair tools or something that would repair 20 hp or similar on the wall, each time you used it.
A last thing would be to fix the spelling errors, or let someone else do it if you're not sure on what's wrong and what's not.

great!

its a good game and i dont see why people find it hard
i beat the game on meh first try ^_^
and yeh like they suggest it does need more upgrades (towers maybe?)
but its a good game and really fun =)

I see much potential

I actually liked this game a lot.

I saw so much potential in it, the concept if not to original but its a solid concept.
an the airplane assistance is a kool feature.

cant wait to see a newer more up to date version soon.

Great game but the Upgrades should be cheaper, you dont have to change the balanceing you just could split the 750 upgrades up into a 250 and a 500 upgrade that sounds like a good compromise to me
