Great game, for those having issues with ruffle:
Simply download the .swf file and load it into the Newgrounds player!

the game works perfectly fine on other websites, like Bubblebox. googling "amorphous+" will net you other ruffle integrations that work, but it doesn't function on newgrounds. for some reason.
sad, since that means losing the save data that was accrued from using the newgrounds player. you can't even download the fla file directly now. tragic.
aside from that, amorphous+ is one of the best flash games since ever, and the Revolution Void soundtrack kicks ass. a jazzy, silly little vibe that i'm very attached to.
Alas, much like other players coming back to this game in 2023, it seems something borked when the game was put into the Ruffle emulator.
The game character does not interact with the mouse once a nest starts up. Which is amusing for the first run, as I'm essentially playing 'Luigi Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing'. The one and only saving grace from this bug is the constant swings may have enabled some weird invincibility frames that I had no idea existed in this game. Good thing too; for whatever reason, once he reached around 290 Glooples Left during a bounty run, the swings stopped doing damage.
I don't expect any updates after fifteen years honestly, but I've missed this game. Perhaps it's time for a comeback with a new Amorphous, if you have the means and patience to do so.
Ive played this before on another site so I know it's great, but for some reason it's not working for me. Once I click on the screen, the player character just drops there and starts constantly swinging the sword in the same direction, not moving with my mouse at all for some reason.
