Great for a beta
This game has a lot going for it: good storyline, unique gameplay, new characters. However it is lacking.
What it needs in my opinion is more levels, rather than one insanely difficult one. Give different planets... like a solar system thing to select a mission. you need better AI! seriously... the fact that the aliens chase after one guy each time is buggish at best. another thing was your human AI. needs more customization, like rewcruitable soldiers, following aliens, escape given the situation(s).
a big one: terrain! try, like on different lands, interactive terrain elements (i.e. rocks, caves, mutant shitcows)

I really liked it...
just to let you know tho, there was some sort of bug where i typed a random letter by accident into the wave box, and it came up NaN wave. also the number of cash became NaN, which gave me unlimited cash.

I liked it, but there are some things that need improving. For example, the AI was pretty stupid. Too stupid to realise i was hiding behind thei own building, as they shot it.
The turret's need a repair thing too. Once a turret is gone, it's gone for good.
Also, your marine allies should be able to get upgrades from you too.

You don't really need to buy the other weapons, only the upgrades to your rifle. Maybe in a new one you could alter the damage so that the other weapons are more effective against the buildings than the rifle, but the rifle's better against enemies.
