Reviews for "Good Ol' Friendly Nes Ep1"

HEH HEH HEH

awesome nez rules make more this WILL pass judgement coz its awesum

Wow.

This style is amazing. It's just so fucking different! Everything about it worked. I don't understand how anyone can give this such a low score? The laugh track was so cheesy, it was great. I usually write really good reviews, but I just can't get past the style of the animation right now. It just gets me. Like speechless, but in text. Whatever you're doing, you're doing it right. I'll just leave it at that.

Fuckin' STYLE!

Very Cool Animation

Really enjoyed watching this cartoon it was very creative and fresh really hope to see more good ol friendly nes cartoons in the future

It was definitely... original...

at first i thought 'wow. a sitcom. it must get worse' but i'd never seen any nes movies before
Neskin looks like a mixture between a zombie and the Mask.
WTF
it was entertaining though

Not too bad.

Alright, a few things:

First the positives, it is excellent that the senseless violence that Neskin has always brought with him has followed him into this new series. It also interesting that in this case he used deception as his method to bring that violence to people, something I haven't yet seen him do. (I suppose if you compare it to your previous work, this is a new method he's used to bring forth some pain.)

The cartoony feel of this Neskin episode was a bit more whimsical than what I'm used to, but it did give me a few chuckles, which I am assuming was meant to be part of the whole aim of this short clip.

Also, the worm crawling out of the guy's nose and sitting there next to him after he died was a pretty amusing touch, thumbs up to that!

Now to the negatives, the end seemed to be kind of without a punchline, I thought Neskin was going to do something at the end to finish the whole scene, but all he did was shrug, it kind of left the end a little anticlimactic. Was it supposed to be depicted as a humorous shrug, or something else entirely?

I think in the future, you may want to drag out the movie a little longer, maybe use a bit more between where Neskin shows up, and when the killing starts. I like the idea that the people died a slow, agonizing death, but without a clear idea of what happened, or a short time frame with which to think about it, it kind of weakens the impact of this short.

(Took me a while to finally write this review, sorry, but I've been busy with work as of late. Hope it helps!)
