Hell, I gave it a 6 because it was pretty good, but in my exprience it couldve been MUCH better, I did like the first part of the trailer, but I say its true brilliance left after the helicopters got shot down, still good though.

This would be awesome if it was for a game that didn't come out years ago, that no one cares about.
It came out 10 years ago, so a trailer for this is even less relevant than an endorsement for Al Gore in 2000 election. Don't even think about it. I mean it.
Though you probably found this in an obscure file on your computer while looking for pr0n.
Relevance aside, this was okay, but extremely short, if you've never played half-life this would make no sense to you and you'd probably cry.
Wait, this made no sense anyway, all 1 minute and 17 seconds of it. For a trailer of something actiony, you show all the action scenes. For a trailer of something science-fictiony, you show the premiss of science fiction.
You showed some helicopters flying, them being shot down (poorly, with no explosions) followed by random text, a dead guy (while you talk about survivors), and people walking around. Alot more could've been done.

But you could have tried to at least make it a little longer, added more detail from the game or used some of the storyline. While you're opening scene follows the beginning of that game, you should have used more of the cut scene and maybe used a voice over, there's a decent conversation in that part. You could have patched over those voices. If you ever remake it consider that.
