Nice game
I loved this, I liked the retro graphics style, the humour, the gameplay and the puzzles. I couldn't find the west key slice though :(

I've never seen anyone break the 4th wall better than you have. You really are a genius. As for the lateral thinking exercises they were a bit on the easy side, but the story is incredibly philosophical, which makes this game great! Also, I loved the pixelly style the graphics were made in. Great work!

Determinism, isn't it? How we're all just following a set of rules, a pattern, set by the "system", this system being simply the laws, details, facts that happens to exist, the system is existence in itself, and we all are just lots of Daves and magicians. Now I just don't know about the amusement part. I don't know if anybody's being amused by it, on a real-life scale. That's Determinism.
Anyway, off of the philosophy, onto the review. I kinda liked the style of the game, really simple, maybe a bit too easy. You could have used more objects that you could investigate with generic descriptions ("This rock is a rock" is a prime example) or funny descriptions... Well, or both. You could also lay off on the hints to bump up the challenge, but really I don't think you were trying to make it hard at all, maybe you just wanted us to see the ending. These types of games, with a meaningful ending is always hard to judge on difficulty. Bah, it's a great game, with a very deep ending that I believe few people will really understand, you get my 10.
