Space Mage
A intresting game, though it does get a little repetative. I personally liked the conquering aspect, which is why I always enjoyed the originals. The Arena was a nice change of pace when I felt like something different, and the massive Hunter bonus you get from them was a great way to make money to fully up my armor.
Speaking of armor... Haveing givin my character a black messy hair, plus the glasses I was wearing for more mana, and the bright red I was wearing, I couldnt help but think to my self 'Go Harry, go!'. Also, with magic all the way up to 10(another nice addition and side quest) and a fully leveled staff(another good one), I felt a little over powered. By the end area, my 3rd Faction spell did about 1.2k damage with out crits, and when I use my normal spells, I would almost always get one crit. The damage came to be abouy 700 using light against Fatal.
Oh, and about Fatal, it would have been ince if he had some sort of uber skill, like him impaling you and slamming you on the ground a few times. I mean, with Shield up, he was doing 200-400 damage a turn, which was dissapointing. I mean, the Ice General was a real beast, with his freeze gun. The Fire guy had some nice damage attacks. Evertyhing he did was near devastating. But then you get to the final 2 bosses, and well, the Turret gun you run into in the areana once in awhile was MUCH harder than even if I had to fight Fatal and Tyrant together. Now theres an idea. Why not have Fatal jump out of battle every couple of turns and send in a General to fight? That would make things a bit more Epic.
All in all, a nice game. I never played 1 and 2 of this series, but I played most of the 'old school' ones, and this did a good job of capturing the feel of those while adding alot of nice spice of it's own. I feel the 3.83 the game now has is a bit underated, so I will give it a 5 to try and bring it up as much as I can.
P.S- LethalRPGEmpires? Sounds like that might be and multi-player browser game, along the lines of Magic Duel. Am I right in that suspicion?
