I could've done something more fun with 4 minutes.
I would have to agree with rainbows a few posts down, for the most part. In his defense:
"Yeah I think you would have done a much better job organizing the whole thing than me and Nick did, sorry we didn't ask you if you wanted to in advance. You would have made it much more interesting, I'm sure."
The fact that he did not make it does not render his ideas null and void. To give you some idea of how stupid that sounds, look at everything you've ever criticized, including Hollywood movies, books, foods. How much of that could you have done yourself? Your movie is well-organized, sure, but there is no denying that it was boring.
"actually, a lot of people have said it was good. and if they didn't actually SAY in the review 'it was good', then they said other stuff, and gave it a nice score. This folks, is called subtext. its when people can derive the artist/author's meaning from something even when they didn't make it blatantly obvious."
Everyone has a certain method of scoring. Some people, including me, include plot in the scoring of a movie. Without any form of plot whatsoever, your flash is not engaging to your audience. Sure, you might understand your hidden meaning in your flash, but I can assure you the vast majority, likely all, of your viewers did not see it. This is because there was no plot, which can be thought of as a medium for the viewer to learn your theme.
