Refreshing.

It's nice to see a strategy game that doesn't entire focus around throwing wave after wave of random units at your enemy. It was also an excellent idea to make this game modern. The maps feel a bit small though, and the weapons are very undetailed, which detract from the game's overall quality. I feel as though you got the gameplay just right though, and the unit customization really feels right this time around. The best feature I think you put in here, however, is the camera. I don't know why, but it just gets me ill when the camera has a series of set posistions, and snaps between them. You should really continue making games like this, maybe up the graphics a bit, and throw in an updated cover system (for example, units pressed up against a wall can turn and fire around it, exposing themselves for one turn, etc.). Overall, really, it's an excellent game with very few problematic bugs.

Kinda poor

You made a game that works so you get a five but when you look at what you've made its just not good enough to be celebrated.
The viewpoint of the game is annoying and the terrain pointlessly angular with elevated squares shoved here and there for no reason. Make the levels bigger if you want to add some variety.
I'd zoom the screen out a bit too, add some detail and make everything a bit smaller and easier to take in
The graphics are average at best, the weapon balance is on the side of the enemy. I also don't like the way the men walk through the higher ground and then snap up.

Maybe you should play the old UFO games or Jagged alliance or something then come back to flash and make Mordern Tactics 4.

it could be better if...

the battle wasn't so one-sided (seriously, i just started playing and i missed them EVERY OTHER TIME while 'bang!' 'bang!' goes the enemy...)
honestly, one-hit DEATH in level one isn't fun at all D:

i was lagigng then it froze when i was at the first reinforcments i wuld have won if it wasnt for that FIX IT PLEASE i want revenge on that last guy they had. AND I LOST MY 2 GAINED RANKS

Lackluster

the older ones are better. in this one for some reason enemy weapons do twice the damage yours do. I knife him, -100 he still stands. he knifs me,-125 i die on the spot. and their guns fire about 4 times, and even if you take the guns from them, they still fire twice. It's like you programmed it to be completely in the CPU's favor.
