The story line was good and the graphics were nice. Definitely one of those older style toons but still good.
Oh and Mrmrkohl, dont vote something down just because YOU thought something about the story line should be changed. You didnt make it so you should vote on it on different things other than that. If you think it should have been darker and eviler or whatever, why dont you make something better.

I agree, but it's probably the morality-and-ethics factor that inhibits profundity. For example, I recently read someone's comment about the scene in "Toy Story" where Buzz becomes insane (Mrs. Nesbitt), where the commenter mentions that, in their youth, they didn't understand Buzz's behaviour at the time. Thinking on it, I am glad that this short doesn't focus on the "villain" as the protagonist (anti-hero) because I'd always been frustrated by the incompetence, yet focus on a villain in the cartoons of my child-hood. I'd also like to mention the peculiar sense of megalomania ever-present of me. It's tiring for a villain to have a scheme routinely foiled. I feel the lack of progress in main-stream, the most popular serials was reflected in and retarded me. e.g. Pokémon, Inuyasha, and Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show. There's a line between the enjoyment and comprehension of the craftsmanship of say, a symphony, to that of the examples cited. It's a anathematic line. I say the examples cited are anathematic, not the line itself. The reason mindless entertainment exists is because of its profit-margin. Granted, the Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show is a high-quality cartoon as are the others in certain respects (e.g. Pokémon's franchise (industry) and Inuyasha's (albeit drawn-out) plot). The dream is excellence. I hear "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is exceptional.
re: this toon: High-quality, but clichéd plot. I would've been delighted if the punch-line was the entrance of law enforcement into the matter, in a realistic, dead-pan manner. I guess that means this toon's universe needs a wall. Toon's that are a success without a wall get by with great writing. But, I've an affinity for realism with a dash of magic vs. vice-versa. It's my cognitive standard, e.g. for the purpose of the appraisal of art. Then again, truth is stranger than fiction. Study science: this sort of toon vs. other sorts of toons (e.g. dark).
P.S. I came by this toon because it is listed as the daily winner of a past year.

I always disliked this "happy" ending trash usually found on kiddie toons. The reality of it is that there would never have been such a positive outcome. I do enjoy those darker versions of a tale.
