Reviews for "Besieged"

dunno, man...

good idea, but too hard... almost impassable...

oh no you didnt!

you used a sound effect from old warcraft??? LMAO

Like it, but...

Like it , but maybe my skill is really bad, so I can not pass level 2.... So 8.

Fun but...

A pause button would sure be nice. And if there is one, it isn't at all easy to find... especially with how long the levels can run.

Game needs some work

Good concept, but I've found a lot of major flaws in the game.

You get very little prepare time, you should consider adding in a paused starting feature so you can place your towers more strategically, instead of in a panic to just get something on the field.

Resources and gold are ridiculous hard to obtain, for the love of god REMOVE the damage function to your gold collection (I.e. when your castle is damaged it generates less gold) and it is also way too expensive to repair your castle, not even worth it,the money is better spend on gold mines for generating gold faster, since it is almost impossible to stop many of the waves that spawn, your castle will always inevitably take a lot of damage.

Please add in health bars, I hate seeing the enemy's slowly fade out... a health bar will give the players a better idea just how much damage their towers are dealing per shot, so using that information you can place towers more strategically, knowing just how many would be necessary to halt a certain wave.

Tower diversity is non-existent, and they are too expensive based on income level.

Next wave function, just stop gold generation when the current wave is over and restart it when the next wave is sent, generally speaking you don't get a very good amount of "Breathing room"at all.

Tower placement is very glitchy, and towers are too large making placement more difficult, and limits how many you can place "effectively"

Sell confirm would be nice, accidentally selling a tower during a mouse-over really breaks the game considering how difficult this game is to begin with.

I really liked the level up system in place, however, newer towers suffered greatly for experience, while your starting towers had all the power, could use tweaking but this is a great concept as opposed to just money sinking into a few towers to make them gods at stopping.

The game seems more widely based on the bonuses you get, in order to complete the levels, rather than actually playing them, that is a horrible way to make a game, forcing the players to grind the achievements to be able to win, especially when it isn't an RPG, it's a TD.

Now lets talk about the music, it became stale bread in my ears after the first few seconds, but it did add a good "medievil" feel to the game. You should consider adding different music for each different level to reflect the feel of the goal you are trying to achieve.

All things aside, this was not a bad game, but it wasn't that great either, I refuse to play it past level 3 simply because I get too frustrated with it,the game is just too much of a struggle.
