Deceptively Simple

Not much to it, but it's still very challenging.

no lie but its preaty hard but i agree with (SlvrLinedSmile)
"its hard jus the way i like it"

Hard, just the way I like it

Like many before me this game is excessively hard, and honestly I love it.

The game play and graphics, as well as sound, is smooth and easy on the eyes; which of course is always a major plus considering how many games are submitted with little to no effort put behind it.

Now to actually review all the small details that bothered me:

1: The very beginning of the level doesn't actually start until you place your first Tower down.

I seriously didn't like this little "feature" because of the fact that the shooting range begins giving EXP to the towers, thus not evenly distributing EXP for the first set of towers. It also hurries up the player who doesn't know that this is happening thus forcing them to place towers quickly instead of strategically.

2: The Support Tower (Ballista) has to "shoot" to gain EXP.

The Ballista Tower doesn't actually cause damage, so what is it actually "shooting"? I would actually have it gain exp based on how many towers/shots fired from towers instead of enemies it "shot". Not much of a support tower when you have to sacrifice front line space just so it can level up.

3: Close to no information given on your towers or buildings.

I'm the kind of guy that likes to know what's going on with his towers, is it so much to ask to see what the speed increase is from the Ballista Towers have on my arrow or cannon towers? Or maybe how much each farm is giving in resources or how much they're healing, or maybe a summary when you highlight the castle? All of this information is rather important when you're forced to micromanage your entire defense in such a hard game.

4: Very limited space on the field.

A lot of the time I felt like I was arguing with the space on the field when it came to handling farm and tower, even though I love the graphics it felt a little too crowded. Personally I'd of had the shooting gallery as an upgrade in the castle instead of a building, saving much needed space on the field.

5: One Click Sell, a nervous players nightmare.

I'm used to defense games letting you upgrade your towers, so you can imagine my shock when I went to go "upgrade" a tower and found it sold on the spot without a prompt or even a window making sure I'm not doing something stupid. The idea of "selling" towers in this game seems kind of far fetched, you don't pay to upgrade your towers so it's all based on experience, why would anyone sell when their castle depends on the older towers?

Even with my complaints, this game was truly an experience and I hope to see a whole lot more from you, and I hope to see an update with some of the stuff that I've listed here. Keep up the good work, and don't let everyone complain about how difficult it is, the harder the better; just give us more tools to navigate through the storms.
