good for a first game

well first of all I have to say for a first game this is somthing you can be proud of. the graphics and style were great. sound effects were also well used.
on the down side the voice acting was IMHO forced and unnececary (especialy considering their contribution to file size). the voices on the buttons were especialy irritating.
game play wise it was simple, easy to understand and fun. if a bit on the easy side. replay value is low though as there is no real depth or chalange (or a replay button after you win :) )
its obvious that effort was put into this, with more practice I believe you can make some great games. good luck !

hmmm

it definitely need some work, i.e. on the bottom row 2 guys backed up to where i couldnt shoot them, and i couldnt shoot fast enough, but yeah it is a prototype so i cant blame you, i'd really like to see how the real game is.

good for a first...

here are a few things i noticed that could make the game more enjoyable.
1. you should fix the dialouge. i mean come on, "Captain Polygraph"?
2. the intro animation and art style was really good for a first, but the actual gameplay animation wasn't that great.
3. you should add more features to the actual gameplay, to make it more interesting. it seemed to me like an advanced version of defend your castle.
all in all, i give it a 4. good job

This a nice (deffend your base) game =D or whatever it should've been called xD
I'll be hoping to test it when the game is 100% :D
please continue on it :)

-things that could be better-

*- Shop menu for buying weapons, upgrades, power-ups etc.
*- More blue button things to destroy the enemy :D and better ones cuz in this prototype they didn't die that quickly though... or that's an glitch
*- fort upgrades? like gun men shooting, more HP, nuke launchers i dunno...

Looking good.

It has potential, graphics are nice and story is fine.
But the voices that play when you roll over a button is unnecessary. Also, it'd be nice if you could make blood splatter bigger so its easier to tell when you hit something.
