Loved the concept of the game and the execution overall. The pixelated graphics felt perfect for the game and the doom wall and its approach was designed perfectly. Enjoyed the music although I thought it could have used more variety. Also enjoyed the upgrade system and the online play. Went into the game not expecting much but it ended up being one of my favorites.
Why in god's name didn't you include "MUTE"?
I had to give this game a 10 because it's awesome. The game-play is astonishingly well designed, the upgrade system is useful and fun, and the throwback graphics make for a very entertaining experience.
But seriously... it's 2008. Every single flash game MUST have a "Mute All Sound" button somewhere on it. They just MUST.
I want to listen to music while playing your lovely game. Unfortunately I can't because the loud, obnoxious sounds emanating from your otherwise superb creation ruin any music listening experience I may want to have.
So, I thought to myself, why don't I just disable ALL sounds in FireFox? So I did the old msacm32.dll fix, and lo and behold, IT BREAKS DINO RUN!
So, I can either play this fantastic game in total silence (not fun), or I can hear the same damn sound effect 1,000 times instead of listening to my tunes (again, not fun).
Please. Please. PLEASE add a "MUTE ALL" button. It can't be that difficult, and it would make my life complete.
