Reviews for "Through the Machine"

lagged

well, it worked fine for the first 1/10ths of a second, then became completly unplayable. I'm using IE, on a dell 6400 nootbook. internet speed is reading steady at 54 MBPS, and the other windows i had open worked fine. I dunno what's goin on, but w/e it is you should probably do some more testing and re-release.

I'll give you 3 stars, and a 2 of five, based on how well you had done your graphics. once you fix the lag, this could be a 3, or even a four out of five.

meh..

I've tested this on 4 different machines and I've come to the conclusion that it sucks.

the collision detection with the bonuses was off half the time, not to mention no quality control, this game runs like ASS on anything less than 3ghz with 2gig of ram, which considering it's made in flash is beyond ridiculous.

A nice concept, albeit not an original one, and the actual sync with the music was pretty good.

Overall though it feels as if the speed was hiked up to increase the challenge instead of more intricate mechanisms, but given the current fps you get with the ones already in place it'd probably require a quad core + 4gb ram + dual 9800GTX cards to run at a minimum.

Like It Somewhat

Like NightmareMachine said, it is a good idea, but it would be better as a movie. Also, the lag was bad, I have to admit, but I made it through for a while...until something that didn't show up in time for me to see killed me. I also like the music technique you put in with all of the tools making rythmic noises.

Please make this into a movie, I would really enjoy seeing the whole thing.

why does it lag so bad?

this game is unplayable on my 2.2ghz core2. I know it's not a great computer, but why can't such a simple game run?

it looks cool, but...

kewl idea

this game would have been great if not for the laggy-ass shit that happened every fucking second
