Reviews for "LOTRO - Swig & Toss"

great!!!

The graphics where amazing but i wish i didnt have to downlod the full version.

Perfect

Wow! The graphics are amazing. The whole game is thought out PERFECTLY. The more you drink, the more your aim sucks. That is smart. The graphics..are 3D, which I like, and the may everything moves....brilliant. I will give it a ten for a job well done.

Good!

I thought it was pretty good. It's a simple minigame that lets you control its difficulty. I guess the one thing I could think of is that if you don't keep drinking, then your max bet and blurriness goes down a step or two- useful if, in a fit of bravado, you take a couple more swigs than you can actually handle, like I did.

That said, it was fun for a couple minutes, which is what I'm guessing it was designed for.

Decent. Well-done but not terribly original.

It's pretty much the same idea as most other "drinking" themed games. Yes, you're a dwarf, but that kind of comes with the territory when you're designing a minigame set in the LOTR universe. Including the dual tasks of lining up a slider and aiming a shakey cursor made the game a bit more interesting, but having to do both simultaneously was a bit annoying given the space between the target and the slider icon. I would have liked the slider to have been positioned above the target. Kudos on adding a betting option as well, but while it adds a degree of strategy to scoring, I don't think it amounts to much in the way of depth.

Sounds was well-done, as was the animation in general. Overal it's a good game, but fails to be anything more than a slightly more polished, LOTR-themed version of something everyone's already played for 10 minutes and gotten bored of.

To the guy below me, and everyone else like him I've been seeing around lately (I'm not trying to single you out, but you're the most obvious example): a 10/10 means that there's absolutely nothing that could have been done to make the game better. In your review, you write that it's a nice game _but_ it's not hard enough for you. Unless you're just looking to buff up your bragging rights, that means that you think there's something about the game that needs improvement. In this example, suggesting the creators include different difficulties next time around and deducting a point or two from your rating would be appropriate.

I'm not trying to be a douche, but I think this needs to be said. Just because you like a game doesn't mean it's perfect. While I'm sure the creators appreciate the bump, there's a reason NG uses a 10-point system -- not a two-point, pass/fail system. If every game anyone likes gets a perfect score, the rare, great games are going to get lost in the mix of merely good games. Furthermore, most of the people who submit their work, while they certainly appreciate praise, are also looking for some constructive criticism -- anyone who isn't is either arrogant or the second coming of Christ.

Please! Try to be more deliberate in reviewing!

fun but not very hard.

it only really gets hard after 8 beers.
