Reviews for "24Hr Analogue Clock"

Original.

The concept is very original, and it works in real time.
I like it, but you should put in a background or something, I think.
Nice work.

Interesting thought

Great effort! It is an interesting thought to make a clock which does not use all numbers twice in one day, however there are a few remarks about the CONCEPT I would like to make - your flash is definitely cool.

A real analogue clock like yours would have the disadvantage of the large dial traveling at twice the rate of a regular large dial. Thus, it would take quite a bit of getting used to reading the minutes properly: 14:31 (2:31 pm) would be when the large dial is TWO dashes/dots (or whatever other indicator is used) past the lower mid-position instead of one. Diving by two is required, meaning a quick glance would no longer be sufficient. Reading the time will therefore become LESS efficient this way.

On the other hand, since the large dial is moving faster, i.e. more continuously, it could well be that a clock like your would consume less energy and be more energy efficient.

Thoughts like these kept me busy for WAY over two minutes already, so: mission accomplished to you! ;-)

Oh, let me just add that I like the design of your analogue/digital clock. Perhaps you can sell the idea to a clock company?

Darkside55 responds:

Thanks for your feed back - I appreciate it :D

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I thought it was good, except that it showed the wrong time, but that's just bcos i live in england so i suppose it could just subtract 12 hours from the time shown on the clock to get the time here...actually never mind

Darkside55 responds:

It gets the time from your computer. Maybe your computer clock is wrong? - Anyway, thanks for your comment
