I don't know what the hell other people are talking about, but i really like Brian James' flash movies. They usually have alot of fealing in them, and great animation. I swear, people give em bad reviews because they are jealous. Stuck with useing rainbow headed stick figures :)
I have come to expect nothing less of Brian James
This was slick. Kinda short, but cool. Two beefs, though: The animation was a little jerky and unnatural in spots (the friends waving to the main charater), and the voices were kind of muffled. Other than that, looks like a great start. I'm thinking this is going to turn out to be a standard SNES RPG storyline: boy in peaceful village goes out for a while, finds something that brings calamity on hometown (bonus points for killing of parents/gaurdians and/or partial responsiblity on the part of the boy) and then leaves, ashamed, only to find out he's some sort of "chosen one." I hope you find some variation of this to surprise us with.

I want to see the rest. The music for this was amazing, it set the right tone.
I couldn,t help but wonder if this small town he lives in is based apon Mos Espa from Star Wars, It looks very similar to the slave quarters.
Or is this another star wars spin off like "This is not a test"

This wasnt bad. A little static but if thats your style then thats good. My problem lies in the fact that your animation looks nothing like the trailer? :( I was really looking forward to this one from the trailer. Its like buying a game because the box is wicked and then you get it and its pong. btw.... does that kid really play the flute that bad?????
