Love the 'continuous world' idea.
But the game itself was lacking.

I don't see the point
I found this game to be a somewhat enjoyable time killer, but I don't really see what is achieved at the end of the game. It just says Victory World, and thats it. I also saw what looked like it said Secret World but I didn't get there.
Anyway, in my opinion the arrows are better controls than wasd, but its not too bad. And I'm not sure why it bothered me so much, but the fact that I had to jump than move to jump in a certain direction, as opposed to moving in that direction then jumping.
I don't know, It was alright.

It's pretty good for your first game. I would suggest adding some kind of strategy/goal for beating it, or maybe some monsters. But overall, it was fun.

Did you use the platformer code from the Tutorial Collab '06?
That's where my first platformer's code was from, and this is very similar....
Well, hm.
A little bit more of a point would have been nice, add a feeling of doing something instead of just running around like a crazy person collecting gold coins the size of a small car. It was amusing, though.
