A fine first submission!
At first I want to say, that there is nothing to apologize for. Compared to other first submissions, this is quite a good piece of work. Even though there is much to improve on, but I think you're on a good way.
You have shown some good style and a good sense of taste.
Sure, the animation could have been better or the choice of perspective or the use of foreground and background but you just started, so don't be too hard on yourself. No one can be perfect right from the start. I think you have a great basis to start from, while you have a the ability to draw and some good sense for colors. The rest comes with practice.
So stick with it. But most importantly, have fund and enjoy yourself.

I think the perspective was very hard for me to get down in this piece, and didnt get protrayed the way I hoped it would, but I'm over joyed that you noticed that and it wasnt just me being too harsh on myself. lol. Thank you very much.
