That shameless plug from me aside, you've come up with the old cliched plotline of the wild goose chase, which works well in this incarnation. I liked that Carrot kept hold of his hammer for shits and giggles, as it's a neat twist.
The animation and the artistic style used was neatly drawn and the only issue with the animation in itself is that Wine never tended to move fast enough for my liking. Sorting that out might have given a better overall impression of the flash.
