Reviews for "Dreams (Stavier Remix)"

outstanding

Great work man. the piano was a nice ending for the song

Stavier responds:

Thanx man, wanted to make that epic, emotional kinda feel there.

Yeah

Great stuff man! You had really good bass placement but didn't over do it. It was really easy to listen to and slip into it.

Stavier responds:

Thanx man!!! I'll probably end up editing this one a lil bit in the future or somethin', depends.

Awesome :D

Haha, i'm glad you remixed it ;) Sounds great but the piano is still out of tune, also that transition at 1:54 sounded a bit awkward but I loved the bit after that, greata outro! Could still use a bit more work but a part from that I loved it, thanks for taking the time to remix this :D

Stavier responds:

Thanx man!!! Yeah, stupid piano, might just take it out or somethin', I don't know. As for the transition, I agree, but I think Imma just leave that, don't wanna keep editing the song and upsetting myself & crap. Glad you liked the outro. Thanx for the review & no probs man.

Nice!

I like it! Nice use of fx and filters. Few things to improve on here. In the intro I missed a certain point where you began to use a clap on the 2nd and the 4th kick. If you change this, keep in mind that you must absolutely NOT use that same clap you have there now. Turn that one down a little, then the other claps will get more sound.
Also, you should work on your open hihat a little. First, turn the volume down a little, then mess around with the eq to make it sound less generic (some of the high end down I think), and maaaaybe add a little bit of reverb.
At 1:54, the strings and piano are out of tune, you should try and fix that.
Anyway, nice remix! Just some points to improve on! :D

Stavier responds:

Thanx man, filtering must be like my favorite FX ever :D Just when it goes wooooo-aaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! Alrighty, I do only have one clap, but I see what you mean. Yeah, I haven't really learned how to EQ yet, so I will have to do that. Weird, the piano and strings are the same key notes. I think you meant the arpeggio though, but I haven't gotten reviews on that so I'll see. It's just somethin' that's there and goes away. Thanx for the review man!!!!

Wow

Shoot, I'm no good at even knowing when a song is mastered or not, so no complaints there, but it just sounds... Hmm... It sounds like a generic FL Core song at times. It's still a great song, and it'd be amazing for FL Core. Also, around two minutes into it, the strings and arp don't work too well with each other, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Overall, nice work!

Stavier responds:

Thanx man, not too familiar with FL Core, but I've heard of it. & Yeah, I'm thinkin' of switchin' the strings and piano, but I still do need to work on it, yes. Thanx for the review!!!
