Charlie Brown
Has a Charlie Brown feeling to it but I don't like Charlie Brown so I didn't liek it, Sorry
It was a bit too long and a bit too quite for me but nevertheless good graphics
Boring
Nice drawing style, but way to slow, long, and well...boring
I can't believe I watched this I'm bored to tears.
It's a cute little story. Well actually it's a cute LOONG-ass story, but it still seems to be very shallow. I can see that much work went into making this, but that's because it's sooo long. It's way too long and everything takes too long to happen. Releasing this in a couple of episodes and more work put into each episode would've been a better choise.
The graphics are very very simplistic. Actually they are so simplistic that they seem to be more sketches than what should be the final artwork. Just ugly at times. The animation is well done in a couple of occasions, but dull and boring most of the time. Just like the colours(or lack of them) and the landscapes.
The music is nothing exciting and the sounds are your basic stock sounds.
The plot would be all right for a Saturday morning cartoon, if it wasn't so dull and boring. Cute, though.
Nice animation, bad fundamentals
So I thought the animation was done pretty well, and the sound was ok for the most part but I personally think this movie is unwatchable. I could barley finish watching it while doing something else and kept watching it at the notion that it "gets better" from other reviewers. This movie could probably be cut to about 1/3 of the size and be more enjoyable by one simple tactic...
First of all you don't need to keep repetitive scenes going. For example the pencil climbing of the tree thing, do one or twice slow and then fast forward do not show climbing up the entire tree its just boring. The same thing goes with the flying scenes I don't need to watch what seems like minutes of idle gliding. Flash animations are supposed to be short, sweet, and fast moving. In todays world of entertainment on demand you must keep something moving or people will get bored and move on. I really think this movie has potential and could be interesting if you got rid of the 2/3 of the movie which seem to be downtime. Remember if it just keeps repeating action, or ads nothing else such as comedy, plot, or action, its downtime... and there is way to much.
But as it stands now, I simply can't even finish watching this movie it moves to slow, and often seems to be going nowhere. So all in all, I would suggest releasing this movie and cutting out and shortening many of the scenes.
