I think what other people were calling 'slow' was the progression from one step to another. like, the character able to materialize giant pencils and kites would think fast enough to make what they do in the movie go faster. We already suspended disbelief of the norm once, having to do so again makes watching a movie feel a little clumsy.
Fill out the character a little more; answer questions we haven't asked yet. Your drawing style is pretty solid already, practice writing a well-received script :)

Nice work, but I'd suggest some things...

First of all, let me say that the animation was quite pleasant-looking, and the story was simple but sweet. I liked it, indeed. But there was the problem most people are talking about, here: it's too long. Why don't you separate the events into smaller episodes, with some incomplete situation "to be continued" on the next chapter?

Second, concerning the sounds: the background music was well chosen for the animation, but most sound effects were unnecessary, I think. The animation would have a more sofisticated feeling if you'd remove most effects completetly, leaving only a few ones, like the wind and the making of the octas, as a soft suggestion of the actions.

Wow. Who knew octahedrons were so useful? I really liked the drawing and animation style, but the transitions were a bit slow. OK, very slow, sorry. Gotta be honest with these reviews. ^_^

Keep up the style with your next piece, but speed it up. I'm sure it will be a hit. Nice job.
