Man! How much timie do you think I have!?! @~Q
Okay, overall it was quite a good toon. I Liked it. Reminds me of the Peanuts somehow. Don't know why. But straight to the point. I know, that this might have been a lot of work. This might even be the longest Flash-toon I've ever seen, but man. If you do something that long, at least give me scene select or a pause button. If I get a phone call or I have to get my fries out of the fry, I have to watch the toon all over. That's frustrating. I might end up quiting. With all respect to your work and sweat you've put in this, that's something, you just can't do.
I personally thought, that it would be over, after he got his paper thingy out of the Tree. But NO!!! Still it went on and on and on. And between the sequences so much unfilled space. Filled with waiting. Give it a little bit more action. Not the kind of "oh!Blam! Blod and Gore Blam! Blam!" action, but let them do something.
The long flying sequences the long pauses between actions or conversations, the length of some scenes like the tree climbing, where we've already got what he's doing after the third pencil. All that things are way to long. All I can say to that is "keep it short and simple". Let's stick with the pencil thing, while we're on it. Three Pencils in the tree, after that you could already have made a cut and after that he could have been already on top of the tree, sticking the last pencil in. All the stuff in between was just empty space. Spare people watching it. And what's much more important than that, spare yourself animating it.
So on the whole it was some brilliant work without blood and gore, what I liked personally, but with a lot of stuff to improve on. So do yourself and your audience a favor and make it shorter next time. I think they'll actually be more grateful. So keep it going and thx for the hard work.
