It looks like crap..

HOWEVER it is totally awesome!
This flash has a lot to offer and it has got a great style. Moreover its ridiculous humor and situations made my today's tough morning.
Despite the poor gfx it is a very well crafted flash: voices, sounds and length of it are perfect. Every fight is special and every character diffrent.It feels like first Metal Gear Awesome- you watch a graphical piece of shit but you love it anyway.
Usually I gave such movies a 3 but you have a nice 4 from me and an encouragement to make more of these. Good luck.

However when I try to press left/right on the chidori thing it doesn't respond so well...so i keep failing

If you couldn't find something to related to in this flash then you weren't looking hard enough. Yes, the quality of the art jumped around a bit but that shouldn't keep anyone from enjoying. This is a product of watching to many action movies, anime, and video games. This scores way above average from a no named artist. I am exploding with excitement for your next crazy submission!
