Good build up of tension
What I most appreciated was wondering how the friendly giant was going to react to seeing one of its dead tinkered with. Maybe it thought they'd had the decency to bury it. Regardless, while seeing it come to the rescue wasn't a huge surprise, your last episode really made me wonder.
The Capital Ship was a nice touch.
