What a rediculous tempo. Both of these songs sound like they are in fast forward. I honestly cannot appreciate the original or your take on it. The melody is not enjoyable, the beat repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats. I just hear pounding and a melody that would have maybe made sense at half this speed. I know my own bias is really hurting my judgement on this. You were successful in keeping true to the original elements of the source material though. So you did follow the criteria of the contest. I liked the solo in there towards the end, but again think it would have sounded 1000% better if it were slowed down a bit with the rest of the song. Your instrumentation sounds like a typical rave trance/techno song. 6.0

it was a good remix but the origanal is way better and the length of it is amazing. it doesnt have the same sound over and over like that other guy said. in my opinion the origanal isnt long enough cause it is so amazing. dont take this th wrong way i do love the remix but it doesnt even compare to the origanal, its one of my favorite technos.

The length of the original's amazing because of the solo work over the progression, the smoothness of it, it really is epic, amazing sounds, but if it weren't for that, it'd be boring and too long, but because he did so many things with it, it's not:]
Some people don't appreciate that though.

Great Remix

Honestly, I think I actually prefer this version to the original. The other was just too long, and didn't change up much. This one is just the right length, and keeps my interest. Interesting twist on a great song.

though being on the front page, especially the audio portal top 30, doesn't necessarily mean the artist/song is good, but really that's subjective.
