Reviews for "crossroads in the sky"

Jonathan Livingston Seagull

Was this flash inspired by the Richard Bach's novel?

SOMNAMBULA responds:

no!

Hmmm...

Well, firstly: Excellent animations. I mean, pristine. Just breath-taking, so 101/10 for that reason alone.

Secondly: The script. Quite philosophical and thought-provoking, I hope you intended it this way, if not, then you have some un-tapped genius there. 10/10

However...the voice acting wasn't great. While this isn't usually a problem for me, the voice acting kind of ruined the script. While you have never claimed to be a voice actor, and therefore I cannot hold this against you, a script of such professionalism should truthfully deserve voice acting of the same quality.

You, My Friend, KNOW certain woman types!

You have hit a nerve with so many men that have experianced just what has occured in your animation. You put it beutifully, short, and to the point. The animation was weak, of course, as all they did was fly through the air, over an open ocean. BUT, it was the relating of the fact that this was his NATURE and therefore he was hated in the end because this PARTICULURE female felt insulted that she spent time with him and said "I think I LOVE you" and he didn't recipricate her feelings and follow her where SHE wanted to go. WONDERFULLY done in such a short story. As for the voice acting and the people complaining that you were "cold or calous", it was warm and genuine. No need to get emotional and crazy in a short time. Bravo!

Great

This was great. The only problem I had was that the voices were a little hard to understand.

Well done

well done, this realy shows a fraction of the beauty of nature, it follows it's rules, the albatros flies and rests only to mate alone, they spend all thier time with the wind, the sea, the sky . Living a slow life where they just want to contitnue away from change. This contrasts with the seagul who must rely of others for scavenging and survival so thier brought into small locations with many seagulls which make them groups. As to wether an albortrous and a seagull can commune i'm not so sure, as far as i know the albotrous hardly ever speaks but theuy both belong to the same spiecies so they should be able to commune i guees.
