Nice start...
It's got potential. Try having the two move more, like actually dodging and trying to but getting hit. They just stand there and get hit. Unless you're trying to go for the FF battle system mimic. Then you should make the windows, cursors, and place it like an FF7 battle.
Keep working on it if you think you'll revise and finish.

its really short and rather one-sided
and i woulda loved to see cloud celebrate to the traditional ff7 victory music instead of just run off.
make it longer, add some interaction with the surroundings(jumping off walls, etc), and add a short celebration at the end for cloud and it would be perfect
but pretty good for a first animation
sprite animatronics...
all that space and they fight back and forth in the little corner? too short, but a good start, keep practicing.

ha I love cloud... friggin sweet... but kenshin can kick way more ass than that... come on... maybe you could have done a kenshin and kyo fight... (their stories are way to much alike)... but you used a very different touch and it is interesting... seriously I'm completely oblivious to the world but I was still able to see this at the side of flash submissions... so good job... good luck... and sprites rule... hopefully you'll do more like this... these kinds of parodies are never thought up and need a true mind to make them...

for your first time, this is really well put together in my opinion anyways. Keep up the good work, although I wish we, the viewers, would've been able to choose who won that fight. for your first time I give you a 6 out of 10.
