Reviews for "Leviathan"

I'm moshing already!

Dude, you rock! You've made an absolutly fantastic metal track there, with some real slick rhythm changes, the lead guitar sound amazing (especially when in harmony) and the best thing has to be the simplicity - it isn't over complicated or too technical, it's what metal should be. I love the lead riffs, they sound great. There is only one problem i have though - the bass is a bit too fuzzy, but i'm not sure if thats something thats happened in the recording process. But apart from that, it's bloody good.

I'm gonna go listen to that again.....

KryojenikStasis responds:

Thanks very much, positive comments like this always brighten my day. The bass does sound like ass, I intend to revamp the whole song and re-record the bass pretty soon.

DROP A?!?!

DAMN! your stings must b rattling all over the place?!? Well, n e wayz. this submission was so good I joined newgrounds just to review it. Sounds like you are using either a half or a full stack, with alot of bass. I definatley love this song. Deff goin on my cd! btw, what kind of guitar are you using? I use a BC rich warlock w/ floyd rose tremelo. i have no idea how to spell floyd lol. GREAT SHIT MAN! YOU ROCK!!

KryojenikStasis responds:

Actually, I'm using a Squier 7-string guitar, so drop A is no different than drop D on a 6-string. I recorded the guitar thru a Digitech Metal Master pedal, which can simulate a 4x12 stack, but I went right into my soundcard. Same with the bass, no amps were used. Oh, and you can put it on a CD as long as you don't plan to sell it.

Nice Guitar Playing

Being a guitarist my self i can see that this song is really amazing good mix of drums and guitar.
The guitar has a nice sound to it really like the distortion.

By the way did you record this with other people or did you use a music program?

KryojenikStasis responds:

I did this all in Cakewalk's Guitar Tracks Pro. I played everything except the drums, which I programmed using Drag and Drop Drummer and some outside loops I found. And I'm actually not a true guitarist. I mainly play bass, but I dabble in guitar.

Nice!!!

Damn, music is good. Kinda sounds like music you would put in Dynasty warriors 4 for some reason... :P

Have you heard of Skinlab?

Dude, this shit kicks-ass. Kinda sounds like Skinlab (huge influence of mine). Definitly puts my stuff to shame. Wow.
