People should STOP giving this a low score due to it not being as good as the original, that does not warrant the 2s and 3s...
I agree, I prefer the original, but this is just as innovated as the last one. The graphics were great, the sound was good and it is unique to the rest of the tower defense games.
As a PS, people are probably bitching because you can't construct channels for the enemies to follow and get killed veeeeery easily like in the 1st one. IMO? A good method of preventing foul play.

Look, I know this just wasn't as good as the 1st. It's barely the same thing. However, if the rest of the low scorers would just work at it they would find out that this game takes some real effort that pays off. I like defense games like this because it makes you think hard about strategy--one of the really successful aspects of Xeno #1. I do agree that a listing of the actual damage ratio for each weapon --subsequent to upgrades--is extremely helpful. The more expensive weapons were TOO large and didn't give you enough bang for the buck, but the devastator was a must in the end stages. Of course everybody liked the maze making of the first one....you should go back to that. The maze on this had its positives in that you could be creative in weapons choice selection and placement----it was just seemed a little too limited---make the stage bigger with smaller blocks and smaller weapons for more versatility. I ultimately liked rising up to the challange of overcoming the money to weapon ratio proplem with strategic weapon placement, upgrades and creative maze making to maximize my efforts. I had to fill my screen with maxed out weapons in the last stage just to survive----make sure you have a row of maxed-out sky beams on the bottom to offset the ones you've placed in the middle. The last ground troops are killer----you will need a lot of maxed out lasers and devastators--especially at the end of your maze---intermix with maxed out range on freeze rays and special nullifiers. You should have a (maxed) globe ( UV turret ) at every turn. Fill nearly every space you can muster with effective weapons ( yeah, I know---duh----its the EVERY space thing you need to take note of....).

Best defense ever

Much more detailed than the first. The difficulty kept me wanting to play again and a gain, even if i lost. It was the challenge and the depth of difficulty that really made the game what it is.
