Reviews for "Kill the dragon"

Not very original as said.

But at least this is the first time I have ever seen a life bar for both player and enemies, so instead of seeing an enemy die in one hit while the remaining ones take 3 or 5 to die, you can tell which dragon is almost dead.

And thank you for not including useless teammates who stand there waiting to die only putting whichever character you're currently using at risk of death by trying to save one of the useless characters only to have both get killed.

Why even bother with more than one character when only one can be used effectively at a time while the computer can kill you easily when there's like 5 or more enemies attacking at once. So I thank you for not having usless reserve characters just standing there getting killed and in turn getting you killed trying to save their useless selves.

was that michael jackson? :P

might be me, not really familliar with the guy, but that "YEOW!!!" when a dragon dies is a REALLY nice touch :P

more ontopic: the game in itself is nice, but a tad repetitive. The bosses are a good idea but they should be easier to hit but harder to beat (didn't even get hit once, but i frustrated my ass of cuz the damn head kept bobbing up and down around my shots).

also, i'd like a save function and some powerups that don't instantly whack the bajezus out off well, everything, kinda....

nice graphics, background music and some additional sounds (dragon roaring?) would certainly add to the experience.

overall pretty good job, 7/10

It's nothing amazing.

It was fun at first until I reached the first boss. The boss is easier than the level before it. That isn't right. Then I reached the next level. It is the same thing, but the background is different and the dragons are just recolored. The difficulty didn't raise much, except the dragons only had a bit more health. Same with the boss of that level. There are only three power-ups. They are pretty good, but there can still be more. Also, they sometimes spawn too far away.

Now for some of the pros.

The artwork was good, but the enemies were repetitive. I enjoy the fact that you shoot from the side, so you can hit the dragons while they shoot at you. The power-ups that were there were balanced. One strong attack, one fast attack, and one for defence.

Now the suggestions.

-Add more power-ups. (Different elements, perhaps?)
-Change the artwork for the enemies and bosses each level.
-Add music.
-Acually make the enemies harder other than raising the health.
-Make bosses harder than the enemies.
-Create a level with all types of dragons with the final boss being all of the past fought at once. (Maybe call the level "Dragon Isle" or something like that.

ok...

It was ok... way too eady and the idea wasn't really original, but it was time consuming...

okay...

I was disappointed that the powerup was gone after 2-3 shots.
it would be cool to power up and dodge like in a shmup!

its an okay game, but - as previous reviewers already pointed out -
it gets boring very fast. So i give an average rating.
