Decent, but a bit boring
First, let me say I'm a big fan of the Ace Attorney series, so it was nice to see someone pay it respect without making another one of those overdone Phoenix Wrong flashes. Yeesh.
Unfortunately, this was a bit stale. The plot didn't really engage me, as it not only seemed a bit cliché, but also wasn't exactly backed by the best dialogue.
My main gripe is that you captured the gameplay of Phoenix Wright without quite getting the spirit of it. Two things that really make PW a great series are the constant over the top sound effects (not just the "OBJECTION!!"s) and the character animations before they start talking (such as Edgeworth slamming his hands down or the judge shaking his head). The moving mouths were a nice touch, but I really felt like I was just reading massive walls of text with nothing to break them up.
Bottom line : this needs more. You have a great foundation here and a decent tribute to Phoenix Wright, but the little details are what transform PW from an interactive novel to a true game.

thank you for your suggestion. Actually, i didn't very well see any much importance with the character animation. I put much more thought with the storyline and the trial, becuase of course, it is what this game is about. Although I am not really good with making stories and not very familiar with court procedings. I only had fun with it through the PW game. I actually don't really consider this a GAME. For me it's more of a story slideshow with questions that requires thinking. I respect your opinion and I find your criticism helpful. thank you, and I will do better in future flashes. =D
Wow! Great remake!
It's simply amazing and near-perfect! It almost nearly works like it's a Newgrounds version of Phoenix Wright: Ace Atoruney, just with notorious Newgrounds characters. I had a little trouble in some parts, but alot of them were a bit too easy, but I love the idea that Piconjo is the rival played in this, it really suits it well, seing how in Newgrounds history Piconjo is known to be the parody of Pico.
The most thing I liked was the fact that the judge is Tom Fulp with a beard! LOL!! The only things you got wrong is the sound-effect quality, what I mean is for example, that "OBJECTION" sound-effect ripped right out of the real Phoenix Wright games is pretty grainy, it wouldn't hurt to fix it. So yeah, overall it's real swell.
