Could stand to be harder.
It's a fun game and all that. It's just that, like therealjoe said, it's too easy. You want extra points, tack on a difficulty option so we can choose whether we're rolling around in a godthrone shooting omgmissiles at tin cans, or if we'd rather roll around in a tin can shooting a pea shooter at godthrones.
Mind you, it's a bit of an exaggeration, but I, for one, prefer games where there's a threat of failure.
All in all, though, this is a pretty fun game. Shareware, yes, but the man's gotta make dinero somehow.
Its ok.
Its good because it has nice graphics, sounds and animations.
The thing it lacks is the game play.
Its just too easy i remember playing the original game and it takes about 2 hits to kill you so you have to form some kind of strategy. You should reduce the amount of enemies and make them take half your life off per shot.
The AI isn't that great either you should make it so that whenever the enemy tank sees you it automatically fires but you haven't included this which is annoying because the tanks are right in front of you just driving around.
Good game
It's funny how a bunch of people forget entirely how the review system works, comparing this to it's original is like comparing a watermelon to it's deader, more beaten equivelant from so many years back, this new one is always bound to be sweeter.
That said, reviewing this from a non-retarded standpoint, this game is solid in my opinion as a reviewer, the graphics are solid and the concept is something I haven't seen repeated on newgrounds, perhaps it is a remake of an old game, but there are plenty of these on Newgrounds. The execution was fantastic, it didn't lag on my computer despite the fact I have ten million windows open at once. The upgrades system is good, though I believe there should be more available from the start.
My only major gripe has already been discussed, I'm opposed to demos being put up on Newgrounds, though I have to say this is mainly down to greediness on my part rather than remembering that Newgrounds was originally created as a showcase, and not in fact a place for full games, demos are of course part of the territory, still, the game was playable even with the annoying demo screens, this gets a 9 from me.
