Good, Simple and unique
A sidescroller without a jumping action? good artwork (very cool black on white concept) gameplays ok and the eagle makes it more complicated (means more enjoyable!)
it's a cool concept...
I like the concept of the eagle, but the game needs some spicing up. try adding more types of enemies and possibly a way to jump, to add more depth to the levels. (but that would make it a platformer, which you may or may not like)
Distractions To Be Made
The animation phase seemed to be one of the great reasons as to why I liked this game a lot, but I am certain there are many people who tried this game out and wondered - what strategy is there to have when all you can really do is parry, and attack in sequences?
There should be some kind of an Instant Block, where if you are successful, you could go from around the enemy or strafe side to side and do a swifting samurai slash of some sort past them, followed by the words "Success" written in Kanji or something like that along the lines. But oh well, talk about being picky - just like the classics. I like how the Eagle can be used to be your friend. ^_^
By the way, congratulations on earning first place on the daily feature.

Seems like a waste...
This seems like it would be such a great game... if it wasn't so glitchy. Clearly this was released before its time what with all of the glitchyness...
All of the glitches i noticed were from the eagle parts. For example; when standing near a ladder, moving the eagle up moves you up the ladder too. And in that spinny sword boss fight i accidentally released the eagle and it refused to go back into me and i was forced to fight him using d mode... i actually did better button mashing than careful timing for some reason... cause he refused to spinny sword anymore...
there's more glitches but i devote too much text to each glitch so...
bottom line... could be a great game... too glitchy... its an okay game
