not too bad

the game itself isn't bad at all, however i encountered a number of bugs on the lvl 6 boss like: no matter how many times i hit the bastard he wouldn't go down, on another try i hit him in the head with a powerstrike 23 times before finally dying, also for some reason he would have no timelag between his 2 strikes were it is supposed to be possible to hit him, i like this game, but such things have the ability to make shit out of the enjoyment, overall i like it, but please do something about it.

Stage 6

Overall, a very good game, awesome visual style, gameplay is simple and fun, not much to complain about.

However, I haven't even got past stage 6. Some people say that the boss is really hard, I think he's just downright cheap and it requires more luck then skill to beat him. I got the pattern, block the spin attack, dodge or get hit by the first sword strike, then run in for an attack, he kneels and you use your downward slash on him. even following this tactic to the letter saw me still getting pushed back into the spikes by the monsters spinning attack before I could kill the monster. And after about five tries and still getting my ass kicked, I couldn't even complete MY combo, I would attack inbetween its 1st and 2nd swing, and before I could finish my 3-hit combo it would start its spinning attack again and interrupt me. However, I think that was a glitch so I think I can forgive it. Anyhoo, I'm gonna give it another try, but seriously, that guy is a real big piss off.

tl:dr - the stage 6 boss is cheap, not challenging, and for that you lose points.

finally beat it

This game was rediculously frustrating at times. Especially the boss of the sixth level until you figure out his pattern. Also, it could be really buggy when it came to restarting the level. But overall I enjoyed it. I actually made sure to beat this one first before I started the sequel, which I'm looking forward to playing.

i liked this game

i even liked the nasty surprise at level 6. took me a while to beat him, but it was worth it. what i didn't like were the bugs this game has, but the idea of an ink character is great, original and beautiful, not to menchan the eagle. the slippery floors could use fixing and you should allow the character to jump.
but overal a good game:)
