Good but kinda glitched
I'm surely not the first one to say this, but this game is full of glitches. First: The minotaur in stage 6, since its actions seem to be random, it may start spinning the blade while the main character performs a combo, thus, preventing the only way to beat it, sometimes it would just walk and scream without attacking until I got close. Second: In the king's room (stage 12), I was sometimes blown away by his huge hadouken-thing and got stuck on the wall, while, in other cases, I blocked the attack and did not suffer at all (this one kinda helped, but it's still a glitch). Anyway, enough complaining, let's move to the review.
Graphics: 10/10. I liked how you worked only with silhouetes, the movement was one of the most fluent and perfectly done in any flash submission so far. The designs of the characters were simple and easy to identify.
Sound: 9/10. This game features nice music and the SFX for the attacks were good, it would be good to have some sounds coming from the eagle and, maybe, voice acting during the cutscenes (maybe you have done this in the other games, I haven't played them yet).
Story: 7/10. The story is a little shallow, you could have detailed it more, like introducing not only an explanation of the game world (as you did) but also telling the player the story of the kingdom, how the folk suffered under the tyrant's rule, etc.
Gameplay: 8/10. Most stages were fine, but there were some glitches and the minotaur boss should have its difficulty revised (as said in TKira's review). The game overall was a nice mix of strategy and action (even during bosses since you'd never been told how to fight them and had to find by yourself). Aside from the glitches, I was also troubled by the strong inertia, even during the last stage, I had trouble stoping where I wanted and felt like an dumbass while trying to stop in front of the king to deal the final blow (when he is on his knees).
All in all, this game was excellent and very well designed. The only problem lies on its glitches and (maybe) on part of its physics. Thanks for your hardwork and patience reading this review and sorry for the spelling mistakes (as I'm sure they must be there). Kudos.
