Reviews for "Total Blackjack"

Needs work

Nice system. I get it that the betting is based on division of your funds, but seems a bit strange anyway. Better music is a must, more interesting environments etc. ad what happened to the 5 cards under 21 rule? I should've won with that so many times...
Good platform though, well excecuted, just needs some jazzing up...

Nice version of the classic card game!

It's fun to play. The only problem I encountered was that it doesn't seem to allow for the option of an ace being scored as 1 point instead of 11 points in the event of a bust while holding an ace (i.e. the "soft hand" rule). I should think that will be very easy for you to fix. (And while you're fixing that, perhaps add some different music with a track selection option? :-)

Close but no cigar...

Nice job on the graphics but there are a few things that need to be fixed to make this game playable.
Threxx pretty much got them all.

Ok game with one error found.

I liked the gameplay and your rules are good. I did find one error while playing. My drop was 2 Aces, I hit, received a Jack, and the program totaled my score to a 22. It should have been 12 at that point.

I would have liked to have seen some goals to achieve, play limit (# of hands or time limit), or a series of players to take down.

Missing a lot of content

I was hopeful about this game when I saw it was black jack and the fairly good score you'd gotten so far.

Maybe it's just that I've been playing blackjack at different casinos then you but at every one I've ever played in (and it has been many in many different states) your game doesn't really follow the rules.

For one in your game the dealer stops dealing whenever it has beaten you OR whenever it has hit a hard 17. In the real world the dealers are REQUIRED to continue dealing to themselves until they hit a hard or soft 17 (depends on the rules stated beforehand) regardless of who at the table they do or don't already have beat. Basically the dealer, by the rules, is not supposed to pay any attention to what the players are holding.

Additionally I saw no option to split my hand or double down - all very important factors in the real game - and options I've never seen a casino leave out.

Basically while this game does have a moderately polished feel from a gameplay standpoint, it needs a lot of work as an actual real black jack game.
