WUNDERBAR!

ORIGINAL, SIMPLE, AND JUST CHALLENGING ENOUGH TO COME BACK FOR MORE. IF YOU DON'T LOVE IT, YOU'RE A MORON

Great game!

It's very entertaining and sufficiently different to warrant a front page feature in my opinion. And as you say, it's very immersive. Well done!

I really enjoyed this.

The concept was simple, but I still ended up playing for 25-30 minutes. It almost feels like a retro shooter at times, though you're not really shooting most of the time. The unlockable power-ups are good incentive to keep playing, and the mode power-ups (Pacman, Tetris, etc.) make gameplay between bosses more interesting after you've been playing for a while. That said, here are some suggestions:

Points: They don't actually do anything, which is a shame. Granted, points in retro games are often just there for bragging rights, but you could have utilized them better here. For example, start the player with less lives, but gain additional lives at certain point milestones. Or have some power-ups unlocked by points, not by time played.

Deaths: When I played, my first three deaths happened during boss battles, and I didn't even know that I had died. When you collide with a mine, there's a little explosion, but when a boss hits you, there's no in-game indication that you've been hit. The "Lives" display is also not very prominent, and I didn't even notice it until halfway through the game (until then I assumed I had only one life and had managed not to get hit yet).

Mode power-ups: Referring to Tetris, Pacman, etc. Don't have these reset the crystal combos. If I'm going for a high score, I'm going to avoid all of these power-ups because they reset whatever combo I've gotten from collecting crystals of a single color. That's a shame, because I miss out on all the creative innovations you've put in the game, and it makes gameplay a little more boring.

Difficulty: If there's a way to increase the difficulty as time goes on, you should implement it. Speed admittedly increases with time, but it seems to max out at 5, which is still not that hard to manage. The bosses provide a unique challenge, but after the 4th boss, there's pretty much no reason to keep playing. You could increase mine concentration, decrease power-up concentration, continue to increase speed (with no maximum), add in other types of mines (mines that shoot at you, larger mines, camouflaged mines, whatever). This would especially work well if you had points-based extra lives.

Anyway, just a few thoughts. Still, really great game.

That was fun.

Very, Very, fun.
That game had everything; Pacman, 1945, Tetris, matrix, oh wow it had it all.
Truly amazing, and very addictive.
Great Job...

Great game!
