Great concept, but need to work more on it.
The idea is great and innovative ... however, the only way most users will be able to beat this game is if they continuously fail and memorize patterns.
The problem with this is it makes things extremely frustrating, and it'll detract a lot of players from wanting to finish the game. Sometimes using the fail-and-tryagain scheme works, and makes user want to finish the game (Ninja Gaiden), but using it 100% of the time really can take away your audience.
I recommend slowing things down to the point to where the user can actually have a chance of not dying, without memorizing. Later in the game, you could possibly make things harder, either by speeding things up and down, or by introducing other obstacles while the game is at the same speed.
As I said, I think it's an innovative concept, but I believe it just needs more work.
