Reviews for "A One Level Game"

GOOD BUT WOW SHOOT ME!

Not long Addictive and very very straight to the point continue doing good work! maybe you will come up with something less hard and but more longer...

Why....

did you bother to post this? Making a really hard avoidance game is a reasonable goal, but would it have killed you to make it longer? If you're going to go to the trouble to put a game on NG at least make it look like you tried. I can't give you a rating for something with the length and quality of a single Warioware minigame.

lol

pretty good game, the music was just the "wtf' type (lol), and it was kinda fun but REALLY repetitive, and i also liked the (press it, *****it!) at the top before u play

amazingggggggggg!

hahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha LOL
really it makes me cry xD

Meh.

Not enough skill involved, too much reliance on memory.

I was expecting a game that required you to use skill and fast reflexes as well as prediction abilities to avoid things with your "character". I was sadly disappointed. The game was highly based on memory, as the speed at which you moved was far to slow to make reflexes your means of survival. You basically just had to memorize each different stage so that you would know exactly what was going to happen. Maybe it just isn't my type of game, but I was not satisfied with the game play. I would have preferred a faster movement speed so as to make skill a larger factor in whether you succeed or fail. Also it was a bit too short for my taste, it seemed to end so quickly and has approximately no replay value what so ever.

Game play - 2/4

Graphics? They were ok. They were acceptably well done, nice straight lines, nice neutral colors. The "character" was well done, and was probably the most graphically impressive part of the game. All in all, it's better than what I could have done and certainly not bad compared to most of the stuff on NG. It wasn't something amazing either though. I suppose simplicity is it's own sort of beauty. Next time perhaps make walls of different colors/textures, just to add variety.

Graphics - 3/4

Music/Sound? Meh, there were no sound effects at all, and the music wasn't to my liking. My personal preferences shouldn't be reflected however, so I will not include that. That being said, I don't feel that the music fit with the game. The game play felt slow and repetetive, and the music did not. The game was very "low energy" and the music was not. Next time maybe try picking some music that fits the style of the game and add sound effects to the walls repositioning or something.

Music/sound 0/2

All in all, not bad but not good either. I voted a 2 because it wasn't really anything "too new or interesting" to me.
