Reviews for "The Atlas Station"

Nice

nice photoshopping

not quite

Sorry, but I have to agree with a lot of Aghannor's comments. I couldn't even finish the game. The arrows are confusing, the side items like the letters aren't engaging. I wouldn't go so far as call it a slide show, but its close. You need more interactivity with your surroundings, a clear travel from on point to the next, directional history as far as the arrows are concerned. Backward becomes left and forward becomes right and so on. Being able to turn in place would be nice. I think it's a great start in building games of this nature, but it just doesn't make for an engaging game overall. Once again, nice start but go further.

im not making anymore games. I don't want to. This was a freakin school project and im tired of hearing this horseshit.

very nice

it was good but i ceccomend playing some of the classic mist games for ideas, i think mist 3 would fit perfectly with what your trying to do.

This is not a game, it's a slideshow.

And as a slideshow, it's fine, but you're promoting this as a game.

Graphics: Not bad, but they're mostly stock photographs. All added effects (like the computer screen turning on, or the various men in black shooting at you) are poorly and obviously photoshopped.

Story: There isn't one. Sure, there are random pseudo-plot items strewn about, but they're completely incidental to the "escape" goal and, honestly, just aren't interesting enough for me to care. There's no real ending to speak of or anything else to tie the details together.

Gameplay: Lousy. All you do is click arrows to go between areas. 95% of the areas are completely useless and serve no purpose except as a bridge to the next area (unless you count hunting for the camouflaged arrows as "gameplay," but I don't). Like I said, if you're looking for a slideshow, that's great, but I was looking for a game.

Replay value: None.

All in all, boring and pointless.

All in all, you can gargle my balls.

Good

Its a good game for lost fans as it is very interesting and has a good story, i know that it is suppost to be pictures but in the future it would be really amazing if you put in some animation etc.
