Reviews for "Rats on Cocaine - Ep # 9"

lmfao

there have been more fucked up episodes of rats on cocaine, but none that were this well animated. quite possibly the best graphics of any flash in the series. as usual, insanely creative shock humor, great voice acting, and beautiful writing (god damn i love gerbils on opium).

i applaud you for taking such an original and unique approach to violence. you are basically trying to make it so you cannot be topped in terms of sheer shock value, and honestly, its working... i have yet to see anything more fucked up than this. that, my friends, is true creativity. probably deserves an 18+ rating but whatever. keep it up dean, i always look forward to these.

ApocalypseCartoons responds:

ahh, nicely put. thank you.

Meh

The first ones were pretty funny, but i'm getting tired of the fucked-up nature of this whole series. It's getting more abstract and ludicrous and less funny.

ApocalypseCartoons responds:

i think its always been abstract and ludicrous. and its the nature of any form of creativity to go beyond what came before. but mostly i wanted to pull someone's head out of their back by grabbing their spinal cord.

LMFAO

Loved all the gore . And just like all the other ones funny as can be.

well... wow.

That was... intense. I definitely was not expecting that, although in some twisted way I enjoyed it. I almost didn't like it, because the gore seemed really excessive at times, but then there would be a moment that made it seem artistic, like a shot from outside the chamber, or the gerbils on opium for contrast. Then it seemed in some bigger way to be almost making a statement about animal testing, yet still mainly being about the fucking ridiculous, and quite literal, blood bath.

So while I'm pretty sure the main purpose of this was to be a gore-fest, the fact that it came off as somewhat more than that made up for it. So uh... good job. I think.

ApocalypseCartoons responds:

yeah, it was all about the blood. but those little moments give it perspective. it's always fun to play with perspective. oh, and limits. those are fun to step on too.

Holy Crap

All you were missing from that was a Falcon Punch. But that might have been to cliche.. very excellent job on the violence, been a fan for a while now. Good to see you back and contributing regularly again.

ApocalypseCartoons responds:

i make them regularly, but very very slowly
