Reviews for "Rats on Cocaine - Ep # 9"

Brutally Entertaining.

Wonderful shots and I never get tired of the characters.
I'd like to see you take it to a higher level of insanity though.

higher?

That was,,, wierd

I never knew rats had so much blood.. must be the coke.
Notice a lot of people says "that was horrible" need to look at the rating and quit half way through! There is rather a lot of the trippy ultra violent shit on newgrounds, this fits well into the middle of the catagory

well it was ok

I'm not a fan, but I suggest leaving the opening sequence of random flashing backgrounds on the cutting room floor. The thing is some "authors" entire flash is random flashing and morphing creatures/objects so when people see this they assume yours is too and you get very low score and a review that says they closed the flash after 8 seconds, before it went anywhere.

I know I hate it when I play a flash with a high score only to have the whole thing have no story line and just be some piece of crap made purely for shock value and have a bunch if dumbasses below me rate it a 10 for its "uniqness".

I'm sure you can find a better way to show the rats tripping out without this.

Again I'm not a fan of this anyway but you did a good job animating and a good job of representing the rats as trailertrash cocaine users so I'll give you 7 and a bonus 1 for the girebals on opium, that was great :)

Damn son!

That's tough competition as the most violent and morbidly disgusting thing I've ever seen!! I love this series!

then you weren't at my prom

Such wasted talent

Your style is fantastic and your skill is commendable. However, your poor choice of subject matter limits your audience somewhat. It may appeal to the pre-pubescent splatter-film consumer, but there are much larger (and more lucrative) audiences out there.
If your intent was to shock, you over-shot. When shock becomes disgust it loses a lot of it's shock value. Toning it down a little may have a bigger impact. Less is more, so to speak. I took off a point for that, and for the overuse of the C-word. Again, strong language is more effective when used as punctuation and becomes base and uninteresting when used repeatedly.
Loved the voice acting, if a little hard to understand at times.
But.. whatever. It's your flash, do what you want with it. Looking forward to better things in future. Don't let that talent go to waste!

ApocalypseCartoons responds:

you think my ridiculously un-commercial subject matter was an accident? or a bad choice? you think i'm trying to get a sitcom on fox and fucking it up by screaming "cunt" all day? trust me, i'm extremely well aware that my chosen path is neither mainstream nor lucrative. it is, however, me. through and through. and i refuse to water myself down to sell more t-shirts or appeal to more people. most people suck. i don't want the appreciation of people i hate. i don't even want their money. i just want to make the kind of cartoons i would want to watch. and very few people do that, because they're afraid of not appealing to wider audience. i'll gladly fill that gap. and if i starve to death doing it, then so be it. my sense of humor is big. it goes too far. i love things that go to far.

i want my comedy to be a giant clown cock that rapes people's souls until it's funny.

oh, and thanks for the compliments.
