Reviews for "Mahjong Burger"

Fun

A nice fun touch to mahjong, I enjoyed the game and the timed aspect was nice, good game.

FUN

BUT LACKING ORIGINALITY I GUESS. IT FELT NO DIFFERENT THAN PLAYING THE CLASSIC. BUT STILL HAD GOOD GRAPHICS AND WAS FUN.

Pretty good

Nice game but i get a little bored throught levels

Good idea, but not done well

It was a nice style and a good addtion to mahjong, but it wasn't done very well. Things come at you to fast and very rarely do things come out that you can actully remove. At a time when I had 7 possible pairs all exposed, with 9 things on the belt, nothing matched up. Nothing on the belt could be removed by any of my pairs. Removing all of those pairs quickly to save my self from a game over, the next exposed could only remove 2 items off the belt(that were repeats) and the next 3 things to come out were all among the 7 pairs I had removed earlier.

Bassicly, if your 'timer' is based on random pairs that may or may not actually still be avalible, then you probalby need to rework a few things. For one, combos should slow or stop the belt. That would really help, since I can work up a 8 tier combo, but have nothing removed and none of the newly exposed tiles be helpful. If that at least slowed or stopped the belt, I would have at least earned my self some time.

This game is a mixed bag. The concept is what drew me in, but because of certain things it doesn't pull through. The conveyor belt moves very quickly and when you get a match it seems to only give you an extra second of time unless you can follow it immediately with other matches, which you cannot. Most of the times the matches you can and do make don't align with the orders, so you can get five in a row and still not get extra time.

There's no point in trying to fill the orders. It's a race to the finish and those extra points simply don't matter. I also had trouble clicking on certain items. Either it would forget I already clicked on something to make a match, or it would just be slightly off, which I think was due to some odd lag I encountered the last three levels. What was even more strange is that after the lag the conveyor belt would boost forward, like it was moving the entire time when I couldn't.

It isn't a bad game, but when normal mode feels like a massive challenge then something is off, and I think a little tweaking on speed would have made all the difference.
