Gotta say not what i had expected.
Song is great man, love the melody, bass line, and most everything about it. Only one thing certain parts of this song seem repetative, but i think its the nature of these types of songs. Not sure what to say about the genre its under, which is why i was expecting some thing very different. That being said this is a very different kind of song, but in a good way. Love the trance feel to it and Im going crazy for the effects you got in this one. I almost think you could shorten it up, but not sure if that would be a good idea. All in all, good listen, keeps your head goin to the beat, and the prgressions are not too simple to tke away from the song, but not too complex as to confuse the listener. Downloadin, and WILL listen later tonight.

You've touched on pretty well how I feel about it. I'm likely cutting 1 to 3 minutes out of the beginning for the purposes of my album... or rearanging the beginning to come after the 3 minute mark in the song. I'm not sure yet but the way it progresses seems kind of inverted.

As for genre... its sort of dancey I suppose, but its more misc then it is dance I feel.

I think its missing a coherent progression. Its basically got the intro like... at 5minutes in, and the break down or chorus is in the first 1-3 minutes.

I bet by continually stating these things in reviews, a few people will read the other reviews and my responses, and start saying what I've said to other people... back to me.

After one listen
I cannot find anything wrong with the song, I do not care what everybody says about it being too long, when you listen to "When the Water Breaks" by "Liquid Tension Experiment" over and over on a daily basis on your phone since it is your only means of music currently, this seems like an appropriately timed song. lol
Of course of I did that with this song then I'm sure I could find little things to pick at.
Other than that, I find this to be a very relaxing music to just put on repeat and do whatever. Repetitive? Yes, the one thing at 2:36-2:44, IMO, is repeated a little too much for notice, but not enough to be annoying

Starts well, loses it
I absolutely love the way this song starts off. It's excellent background music that never gets old. But by around 3 minutes into the song it kind of trails off and gets a bit annoying. It becomes a different song almost. Maybe it should be shorter? It's a bit disappointing compared to how it starts off :)

Becoming a different song is very much something I intended, its for an album in which pieces are going to be rather dynamic by genre and style featuring alot of evolution and contrast. Its going to get tweaked and the progression moved around a fair bit though.
